Understanding warranty coverage on products purchased from Turbo Tech

Manufacturer Warranty Coverage

All products sold by Iconic Reflection Spot LLC carry the original manufacturer warranty. As an authorized distributor, we ensure that every product we sell is eligible for full manufacturer warranty support from the date of purchase.

Warranty duration varies by brand and product category:

  • Test & Measurement instruments: Typically 1–3 years (e.g., Fluke products carry a 3-year warranty)
  • Power supplies & electrical equipment: Typically 1–2 years
  • Industrial electronics (PLCs, drives, sensors): Typically 1–2 years
  • Thermal cameras: Typically 1–2 years with optional extension
  • Hand tools & installation equipment: 1 year standard
  • Accessories & consumables: 90 days or as specified

What Is Covered

Manufacturer warranties typically cover:

  • Defects in materials and workmanship under normal use
  • Component failures that occur without user fault
  • Factory calibration drift beyond specified tolerances (on applicable instruments)

What Is Not Covered

Warranties generally do not cover:

  • Damage from misuse, negligence, or accidents
  • Damage from use outside rated specifications (e.g., exceeding voltage CAT rating)
  • Physical damage, dropped or crushed units
  • Unauthorized modifications or repairs
  • Normal wear and tear, including consumable components (probes, tips, batteries)
  • Cosmetic damage that does not affect functionality

How to File a Warranty Claim

To initiate a warranty claim:

  1. Contact our support team at support@turbo-techs.com or call +1-236-613-3447 with your order number, product SKU, and a description of the issue.
  2. Our team will assess the claim and advise whether the issue is covered under warranty.
  3. If approved, we will coordinate with the manufacturer for repair or replacement β€” you do not need to contact the manufacturer directly unless requested.
  4. In many cases, we will send a replacement unit and arrange for the defective product to be returned at our cost.

Calibration & Recalibration

Many precision instruments ship with a factory calibration certificate. These certificates confirm the instrument met its specified accuracy at the time of manufacture. Periodic recalibration (typically annually for professional use) is the responsibility of the owner. We can recommend accredited calibration labs and manufacturer service centers upon request.

Out-of-Warranty Repairs

For instruments outside their warranty period, we can direct you to authorized manufacturer service and repair centers. We are not responsible for repair costs on out-of-warranty products.
